The Repairman A Mike Reardon Novel edition by L J Martin Literature Fiction eBooks
Great book, that takes you to a read what you are not expecting. Once you start reading, you might as well grab a cup of coffee and settle in, because you won't want to stop until you get to the end. The next you know, you are looking for the another book in this series. I liked it because it didn't take days to read, but takes you right to the action, The worst part I have about reading Larry's books, is deciding weather to read his, or his wife, Kat Martin's books. The Martin team give you many choices of reads and are very knowledgeable, particularly because they actually do a lot of research and travel to the places they write about.READ The Repairman. It was especially fun for me, because some of the storyline was in Santa Barbara, CA., the area I live in. HAVE FUN.

The Repairman A Mike Reardon Novel edition by L J Martin Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is a good thriller. The action starts a little slowly, then just keeps getting better as the story goes along.
The repairman introduces a new hero mike reardon. He is an ex marine with a sense of justice that makes him take on tough cases. He helps people and doesn't let other peoples rules get in his way. A fast paced novel and an entertaining read.
This review is for the Audible version of The Repairman. Overall I liked the writing style and plot of Book One. If you're looking for depth or a complex mystery this isn't it. It's a fast-paced contemporary action adventure yarn. Is it great detective literature? Not even close, but it for its genre it's pretty good and its protagonist is likable in a non-PC way. What hurt the story for me is that the author made his supposedly ex-military character sound utterly clueless by having him refer to rifle and pistol magazines as "clips" (a mistake no military man would make) and having him fawn over cheap Chinese made optics like they were something special and the choice of elite operators.
This was an excellent action adventure with a very likable protagonist, a 'good guy' fixer. The plot is extremely creative and his companions, who are quirky, relatable with tangible comradery with bonds to each other that are enviable.
The only improvement would be if Carol/Sharon would remain one or the other throughout the story.
I like L.J.Martin's style of writing and I find his books are well written and very enjoyable. The character of the ex-marine now repairman is well developed and interesting. I didn't know what to expect when I started reading this book, but I'm glad I bought it because it is well written and most enjoyable.

Appears to be a rip-off of the very good Repairman Jack books.
This was a great freshman effort. The action was from page 1 until the last page, non-stop. A couple of minor missed edits, but other than that, not a problem overall. The main character of this series is very likeable, and wish I had a friend like this to call on. Many plot twists along the way, and if you like your books with a lot of shoot em up action, this is it! Looking forward to reading Book 2.
